Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Motorola Solutions, Inc.

Greg Brown, 57, is chairman and chief executive officer of Motorola Solutions where he has led the company for over a decade. He is the longest serving CEO, after the founder Paul Galvin and his son Bob. Under Brown’s leadership, this 90-year old company has been completely transformed. Total shareholder return has exceeded 250% under Brown’s tenure and today the company is the worldwide leader in mission critical communications for public safety and commercial enterprises.  

Brown serves on the board of Xerox, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Rutgers University Board of Governors, and The Chicago Club.

Brown has served on the boards of Cisco Systems, RR Donnelley and Micromuse where he was Chairman and CEO. He also previously served on the board of the Business Roundtable. Brown has served two American presidents where he was a member of President Obama’s Management Advisory Board and served on the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee under President George W. Bush. 
 
Brown earned a bachelor's degree in economics and an honorary doctorate in humane letters from Rutgers University.
