Executive Vice President, Products & Services

Bruce Brda, 55, is executive vice president of Products & Services for Motorola Solutions. He is responsible for development of the company’s mission critical communications and mission critical intelligence portfolio, including command center applications, LMR and LTE solutions as well as managed and support services around the world. He also leads the company’s procurement and supply chain operations.

Since joining Motorola in 1989, Brda has held a variety of leadership roles in sales, engineering and general management across several Motorola business units. He managed the go-to-market function for key regions in Motorola’s Mobile Devices business and also led the global sales organization. In 2009, he led Motorola’s Networks business and guided its sale to Nokia Siemens Networks. Brda was then tapped to lead Motorola’s newly created Solutions & Services business. In early 2014, he assumed leadership of the Systems & Products organization and was promoted to the company's executive committee a year later. Before joining Motorola, he worked as director of engineering for Dukane Corporation and as a design engineer for Northrop Corporation.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Brda serves on American Cancer Society’s Board of Ambassadors. He also currently serves on the board of Spectrum Effects and was formerly on the board of Eden Rock (purchased by Nokia).
