Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Motorola Solutions, Inc.

Greg Brown, 56, is chairman and chief executive officer of Motorola Solutions where he has led the company for a decade. Under Brown’s leadership, this 90-year old company has been completely transformed. He spun off the cellular phone business, divested two other multi-billion dollar non-strategic divisions and completed a $1B acquisition of the second largest public safety system in the world. Since the company split on January 1, 2011, annualized total shareholder return has averaged over 20% a year.

Brown serves as chair of the Rutgers University Board of Governors, chair of Skills for Chicagoland’s Future and chair of the committee on Immigration Reform of the Business Roundtable. Additionally, he serves as a board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, World Business Chicago, The Chicago Club and the Big Shoulders Fund.

Brown has served on the boards of Cisco Systems, RR Donnelley and Micromuse. He has also served two American presidents where he was a member of President Obama’s Management Advisory Board and served on the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee under President George W. Bush.
