The Connected Police Officer is equipped with multiple sensors that connect wirelessly to a command center. The officer wears smart glasses featuring a heads-up display, camera and built-in GPS that allows the command center to know where an officer is and which direction he or she is looking.

The officer has a constant two-way connection to the command center. Critical information sent to the officer’s radio or smartphone can be discreetly shown on the smart glasses’ heads-up display. On the other hand, if an officer takes his or her gun or Taser out of its holster, or presses the radio emergency button, an alert is automatically sent to the command center, along with images from the smart glasses, allowing personnel at headquarters to see exactly what the officer is seeing.
